Pray for the Events Team today, interviewing candidates for a key role - supporting youth groups & young people to come to Satellites.

2nd (Tue)

Pray for Jermaine, who starts working with the local team this week. He has been a volunteer for a long time, but please pray that he will settle into team life quickly & enjoy his new role!

3rd (Wed)

Pray for new dioceses implementing Launchpad in 2026. And pray for clergy finishing courses this Autumn, as they plan new youth ministry, & engage with young people in church this advent.

4th (Thu)

A lot of young people are living in pain, need, or suffering. As darker, colder nights impact social connection, pray that young people won’t feel isolated, & that they will find support.

5th (Fri)

Tonight is the Luton Unite Christmas Ball, at LCF Church, & this year it’s a Fancy Dress Party! Pray that the everyone will have a wonderful, fun-filled evening together celebrating Christmas.

6th (Sat)

Hannah (Bradley) is on maternity leave. Pray for her, in this new phase of life, that she will be able to enjoy spending time at home with her new family.

7th (Sun)

Pray for the Alumina drop-in community. Pray that they can access the support they need, are comforted through their times of struggle, & that they can find love, care & peace in their life.

8th (Mon)

Pray for the Research & Podcast teams - as they work together on a new series of podcasts about the Translating God research.

9th (Tue)

Pray for young people experiencing racism, & for those whose families have immigrated to the UK for safety or work, that they will feel safe. Pray for God’s protection, particularly in the light of recent tensions.

10th (Wed)

Pray for the Youthscape Essentials course. That it will strengthen the number of volunteers working with young people in churches, & that more young people might come to know Jesus as a result.

11th (Thu)

Today, we want to thank God for our staff, volunteers, & for all of you who support us in prayer, & financially. May the Lord bless you & keep you all, cause His face to shine on you, & give you peace.

Please pray for young people who are finishing their Alumina groups this month.

Pray for young people who have completed Compass & Fearless this term, that they will remember what they learned, & that it will continue to have a positive impact on their lives.

14th (Sun)

The Youthscape podcast reaches thousands of youth leaders around the world. Pray for the podcast team, as they work to resource youth workers, & pray that youth workers will continue to find it encouraging.

15th (Mon)

Today & tomorrow are the final drop-in sessions before the Christmas holidays. Pray the young people will enjoy themselves as they celebrate at the Drop-in Christmas parties. And pray for them over the holidays.

16th (Tue)

Today is the Compass Graduation. Pray that Emily & Abby, the young people, as well as school staff & parents who come along will enjoy celebrating what has been learned & achieved during this term’s course.

17th (Wed)

Please pray for the growing number of young people around the UK who struggle with loneliness & social isolation. Who often feel this even more acutely during the school holidays.

18th (Thu)

Luton Unite Deeper is a discipleship group for young people who want to learn about faith. Pray that they’ll gain a deeper understanding of the significance of God’s love through Jesus’s birth & life.

19th (Fri)

Pray for school staff; that they will be able to enjoy spending time with their friends & families over the Christmas holidays. Pray too, that they’ll be able to switch off from work & relax during this time.

20th (Sat)

Please pray for young people who are grieving the loss of family members & friends. Many of whom will be feeling it even more poignantly at this time of year.

21st (Sun)

Pray for young people living in poverty, & for those not currently living with their families. Christmas can be traumatic for families & young people, highlighting the things they’re missing.

22nd (Mon)

Pray for young carers, looking after family members - that they will be able to find the support they need. Pray too, that they won’t feel isolated over the Christmas break.

23rd (Tue)

Pray for young people who, for many reasons, are not living with their parents. As they deal with the different emotions they feel, which may be especially difficult at this time of year.

24th (Wed)

Pray for the young people who came to Satellites & made a faith commitment. Pray that Christmas will be meaningful to them in a new way this year, as they spend it with Jesus!

25th (Thu)

Thank God for the birth & life of Jesus, & for the chance we have to celebrate that at Christmas. Praise God for the difference he makes to our lives.

26th (Fri)

Pray for young people experiencing suicidal thoughts, that they will feel able to reach out for help. Pray they will find positive support to help them through these difficult times.

27th (Sat)

Pray for vulnerable young people, families living in poverty, & for those with abusive or chaotic family relationships. That they can find the support they need to stay safe.

28th (Sun)

Pray for young people you know, directly or indirectly, for God’s love to touch every one of them in some way.

29th (Mon)

Many families find the holidays hard. Those who are struggling emotionally, those with strained relationships, family breakdown, addictions, abuse, & violence. Pray they’d know protection & peace.

30th (Tue)

Please pray that we’ll continue to see many young people choosing to be baptised & confirmed, having attended Satellites last Summer.

31st (Wed)

Pray for the Alumina online Drop In session today, that young people who are struggling with difficult family situations & eating disorders will find this really helpful.
