Hi,

Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas time.

This January, the Youthscape team will be busy praying and planning for the year ahead:

The local team will be busy working with young people - Drop-In opens again on Monday 12th January, the team will be back in schools, and a new Fearless cohort starts on 15th.

Our National Church Training team will be running Launchpad and Youthscape Essentials courses this term, teaching and equipping youth workers, volunteers, and young leaders to work and engage effectively with young people in their communities.

The Innovation team are working on new resources, and have recently released: Be Still - a resource that encourages young people to pray, without distractions, Talking about Faith Cards, and Unfold series 1 & 2, (bible studies for youth groups working with young people aged 11 -17).

Laura and Robson, who run our Headstrong Mental Health Hub, provide youth workers with tools to help them support young people. They also work with a wonderful team of volunteers, supporting young people who struggle with self-harm - through regular, online Alumina courses and Drop In sessions. As well as organising Headstrong Livestreams: 1-hour livestreams, that cover a variety of subjects - which include managing and understanding stress, loss, anger, and trauma.

The Satellites team are preparing for the festival in August, with much to do over the next few monthsAnd, last month, applications were opened for volunteer team members. It would be impossible to run Satellites without them, so please pray that people will feel called to serve with us this summer.

In a time that can often seem bleak, there are many ways God is at work in young people’s lives around the UK. Let’s pray together that 2026 is full of opportunities for God to speak into the lives of young people, and for them to come to know more of Him.
