Pray for our research team’s training day for youth workers taking part in the Translating God reading resource. Pray the research will enable the team to listen, hear & respond to young people & youth worker feedback.

Please pray for the Alumina team, Robson, Carys & Laura, as they meet to discuss the current course content, & as they adapt it for future groups of young people.

3rd (Thu)

The new & improved Youthscape podcast launches today. Pray it will bless, encourage & inspire youth leaders across the UK.

4th (Fri)

October’s Luton Unite event is happening tonight at Bute Mills. Young people from Youthscape & local churches are joining together to have fun, & learn about faith together.

5th (Sat)

Pray for all the Alumina groups running this half-term. Pray that they will make a positive & lasting difference to the lives of those young people taking part.

6th (Sun)

Pray for the team working on next month’s National youth ministry weekend, as they brief speakers, plan logistics, & answer queries about the event.

7th (Mon)

Please pray for the local team this term. A couple of them are not well at this time, pray that God will bring healing to them, as well as giving wisdom, energy & guidance to the other members of the team.

8th (Tue)

Pray for the leadership team & the board of trustees, as they seek God’s wisdom & guidance as they oversee the work of Youthscape.

9th (Wed)

Pray for the Launchpad team, as they meet with new diocese today, who may take Launchpad into their different areas.

10th (Thu)

Becca has recently joined Youthscape, as part of the Launchpad team, (with Alice & Gillian). Pray that she settles into the team, & her new role: Regional Partnerships Officer - North (UK).

11th (Fri)

Volunteers are an important part of our work at Youthscape. Please pray that more people would feel called to volunteer, serving our local young people, & the wider youth work community.

12th (Sat)

Pray for those attending our Youthscape Essentials Autumn course; that they will grow in skills, confidence, & that their faith will deepen as they take part in this course.

13th (Sun)

Pray for church leaders & youth workers being trained to host Youthscape Essentials in their churches & organisations.

14th (Mon)

Pray for young people who, for many reasons, find themselves homeless; sleeping on the streets, or in short term accommodation, facing an uncertain future.

15th (Tue)

There’s a lot of concern for the mental health of young people in the UK. Pray that they would be able to access the help they need, something many of them are currently finding difficult.

Pray for Gemma (Madle), as she speaks today at the Frontier Youth Trust 'Beyond Conference', about some of the Translating God research. As she disseminates some of the amazing findings, to equip youth workers.

18th (Fri)

Praise God for the amazing testimonies we’re hearing from Satellites - of young people meeting Jesus, & of some being baptised in their local churches.

19th (Sat)

Please pray for Alex (DuRand), returning from maternity leave, as she rejoins the finance team towards the end of October. Pray for the team as get used to working together again.

20th (Sun)

New Launchpad Facilitators are being trained to deliver the course in their local areas. They will, in turn, encourage church leaders to start fresh expressions of youth ministry in their churches.

21st (Mon)

Pray that God would breathe freshness into everything we do with young people. And that He would give us new ideas & inspiration; that He’d clearly lead us this academic year.

22nd (Tue)

Today, we are training youth leaders to think about how they engage young people in worship. Pray that this will help them encourage young people to participate in, & grow in their relationship with God.

23rd (Wed)

Pray for the variety of different people who hire our rooms for work, who represent local charities, businesses & other christian organisations, as the money raised helps finance our work.

24th (Thu)

The local team are busy working with young people in lots of different ways. Please pray they would be blessed with wisdom, energy, inspiration & patience in all they do.

25th (Fri)

Pray for youth leaders who are trialling our resources, (whilst in development), with their youth groups. That this will help us to develop resources that make a real difference to young people.

26th (Sat)

For the Youthscape team, pray for our emotional & physical wellbeing. For strength & wisdom, energy & inspiration, as we seek to serve young people, youth workers & professionals.

27th (Sun)

This week is half term. Pray for young people for whom home life is challenging, & for young carers who are looking after family members & may well have extra responsibilities during the holidays.

Pray for the innovation team, who are developing a new resource to support churches, encouraging young people with rites of passage within the Christian faith.

29th (Tue)

School can be a very daunting & difficult place for some young people. Please pray for those who are; struggling to make friends, who are lonely, & for those experiencing bullying.

30th (Wed)

Please pray for us as we approach charitable trusts, & other donors for financial support for Youthscape & Satellites. We couldn’t do our work without the support of generous individuals & funders.

31st (Thu)

Please pray for the team preparing for the National Youth Ministry Weekend.
