Pray that young people starting year 7 will have a positive first experience of high school. And, that school staff will be able to spot any young people who are struggling, & offer them the support they need.

2nd (Mon)

Pray that God will breathe freshness into everything we do with young people. That He will give us new ideas & inspiration; and that He will clearly lead us this academic year.

3rd (Tue)

Pray for young people in Luton who are struggling with anxiety, & those who are especially worried about returning to their school or college, as well as those who are nervous about starting at a new one.

4th (Wed)

Pray for the Youthscape team, as we head to Pleshey today for our first retreat of the year, to pray & prepare for the academic year ahead. And pray for Becca, as she joins our team.

5th (Thu)

While we are away on retreat, pray that God will inspire & speak to us - as we spend time together praying, worshipping & listening to Him.

6th (Fri)

September’s Luton Unite event is happening tonight, where young people from Youthscape & local churches are joining together. Pray that it would be a fun & safe event for everyone.

7th (Sat)

Please pray for Gemma, Robert, Dave, Beki & Emily, as they restart the local team programmes this month.

8th (Sun)

Pray for youth workers starting their new term programmes. May they feel energised, despite busy summer programmes, & may positive relationships with young people be established quickly.

9th (Mon)

Bute Mills Youth Group starts back today. Please pray for new young people joining the different Youthscape groups, (led by our local team), across Luton & in Bute Mills this term.

10th (Tue)

Drop In returns today. Pray for Year 8s who are transitioning from Bute Mills Youth Group, (on Mondays), to Drop-in on the other weekdays. Pray that they will settle in quickly & soon feel at home there.

11th (Wed)

Pray for young people returning to school after attending Satellites this summer, that they will be bold in sharing their faith with their friends.

12th (Thu)

Pray for young people who’ve had to wait for Alumina support over August. That they’ll be ready to start groups this month, & that the groups will start positively & be a turning point in these young people’s lives.

13th (Fri)

Pray for young people living with disabilities, that they & their families will be supported well, both at home & in schools.

14th (Sat)

Pray for Alex, Charles & Gillian, running Youthscape Essentials. Working with youth leaders & volunteers, with the aim of young people growing in their relationship with God as a result of this work.

15th (Sun)

Pray for local young people, as they start college, apprenticeships & university this term.

16th (Mon)

Pray for Sarah, Mulkina, Ebony & Nicki; as they manage room hire, finance, HR, administration, & many other essential aspects of Youthscape.

17th (Tue)

The local team has a new cohort of young leaders working with them for the year ahead. Pray for these young people, (from school years 12 & 13), who will be stepping up & taking more responsibility in Drop-in.

18th (Wed)

Thank God for the number of Alumina volunteers, & for the subsequent reduction of young people on the waiting list, as we are able to run more groups online.

19th (Thu)

School can be a very daunting & difficult place for some young people. Please pray for those who are struggling to make friends, who are lonely, & for those experiencing bullying.

20th (Fri)

Pray for Dave, as he produces our podcasts alongside working for the local team. And pray that the Youthscape podcasts will inspire & equip those working with young people.

21st (Sat)

Pray for positive relationships to grow with the new young people we meet this term. That the work we do with them would make lasting, positive changes to their lives.

22nd (Sun)

Pray for Chris, the senior leadership team, & our trustees, as they manage & oversee the work of Youthscape over the next year. Pray for wisdom, creativity, & God’s clear guidance in all they do.

23rd (Mon)

Pray for the Youthscape Discipleship group, Youthscape One, (for young people who attend Youthscape Drop In & Luton Unite). Pray for the team leading the group, & for the young people involved.

24th (Tue)

Pray for the health & wellbeing of teachers & staff in our local schools, as they face many different pressures & expectations.

25th (Wed)

Pray that, whatever our role at Youthscape, we’re able to communicate something of our faith through our words & actions to those we come into contact with.

26th (Thu)

Pray for the Bute Mills youth group, who meet on Monday evenings. That the young people would enjoy being part of this community, & feel safe & valued there.

27th (Fri)

Please pray for the local team, volunteers & young people who are part of the Drop in community; which meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays during term time.

28th (Sat)

It is less than 2 months to the National Youth Ministry Weekend. Please pray for the team planning the event - that they will be attentive to what God wants to say to youth leaders.

29th (Sun)

Pray for children & young people living with special educational needs, & disabilities. For the challenges they & their families face on a day-to-day basis.

30th (Mon)

Pray for Laura & Robson, that they will know God’s wisdom & peace as they responds to emails from young people who are struggling with self-harm, suicidal thoughts & other difficult emotions.
