Pray for the National Church Training team, as they connect & plan for the year ahead; working with new partners, growing Launchpad & YSE. Praise God for the funding received for their next 3 years of work.

2nd (Tue)

Pray that young people starting year 7 will have a positive first experience of high school. And, that school staff will be able to spot any young people who are struggling, & offer them the support they need.

3rd (Wed)

Pray for young people in Luton who are struggling with anxiety, & those who are especially worried about returning to their school or college, as well as those who are nervous about starting at a new one.

4th (Thu)

Pray for the local team as they reconnect with local secondary schools this month.

5th (Fri)

For the new hosts of Youthscape Essentials, that they feel equipped to support the youth leaders in their churches & areas. For course attendees to grow in confidence, & for the young people they connect with to develop a lifelong faith.

6th (Sat)

Pray for positive relationships to grow with the new young people we meet this term. That the work we do with them would make lasting, positive changes to their lives.

7th (Sun)

Pray for the health & wellbeing of teachers & staff in our local schools, as they face many different pressures & expectations.

8th (Mon)

Pray for the Youthscape team, as we head to Pleshey today for our first retreat of the year, to pray & prepare for the academic year ahead.

9th (Tue)

While we are away on retreat, pray that God will inspire & speak to us - as we spend time together praying, worshipping & listening to Him.

10th (Wed)

Please pray for our new podcast ‘Talking Youth Ministry’, that it will be an encouragement to youth leaders across the UK and beyond!

11th (Thu)

Pray for new dioceses starting Launchpad courses. That the attending clergy will grow in knowledge & confidence, excited about the potential of youth work in their congregations.

12th (Fri)

Pray for the Youthscape Luton team, as they recruit new staff members this month. That God will inspire the right people to apply for these roles.

13th (Sat)

Please pray for all young people you know, directly or indirectly. That they might be agents of change in our world as they grow up. That young people might transform the church, & the world, for the better.

14th (Sun)

Pray for Ethan, (one of our National Church Training Team members, & LYCIG), as he progresses with his doctorate.

15th (Mon)

Bute Mills Youth Group starts back today. Please pray for new young people joining the different Youthscape groups, (led by our local team), across Luton & in Bute Mills this term.

16th (Tue)

Drop In returns today. Pray for Year 8s who are transitioning from Bute Mills Youth Group, (on Mondays), to Drop-in on the other weekdays. Pray that they will settle in quickly & soon feel at home there.

17th (Wed)

School can be a very daunting & difficult place for some young people. Please pray for those who are struggling to make friends, who are lonely, & for those experiencing bullying.

18th (Thu)

Pray for Sarah, Mulkina, Ebony & Nicki; managing room hire, finance, HR, & administration. Pray for Nicki who’s on Sabbatical for a month from 22nd, and for Alex DuRand as she leaves Youthscape this week.

19th (Fri)

For the Youthscape team, pray for our emotional & physical wellbeing. For strength & wisdom, energy & inspiration, as we seek to serve young people, youth workers & professionals.

20th (Sat)

Pray for young people who’ve had to wait for Alumina support over August. That they’ll be ready to start groups this month, & that the groups will start positively & be a turning point in these young people’s lives.

21st (Sun)

Pray for those in leadership and government. May those whose choices affect the lives of young people, families, & schools, make choices governed by compassion & wisdom.

22nd (Mon)

Pray for local young people, as they start college, apprenticeships & university this term.

23rd (Tue)

Pray that, whatever our role at Youthscape, we’re able to communicate something of our faith through our words & actions to those we come into contact with.

24th (Wed)

Pray for Laura & Robson, that they will know God’s wisdom & peace as they responds to emails from young people who are struggling with self-harm, suicidal thoughts & other difficult emotions.

25th (Thu)

Please pray for the work of the local team with young people in Luton, & for those they are working with.

26th (Fri)

Today is the National Day of Prayer for Schools. Please join with us in praying for young people, teachers, & those in other roles in schools.

27th (Sat)

Pray for the team who are training new Launchpad facilitators, (as we begin a new partnership between Youthscape & dioceses). Pray for those leading, that their knowledge & experience will inspire others.

28th (Sun)

Pray that our Drop In community will be a safe & nurturing environment; a place where positive relationships can flourish.

29th (Mon)

It is less than 2 months to the National Youth Ministry Weekend. Please pray for the team planning the event - that they will be attentive to what God wants to say to youth leaders.

30th (Tue)

Pray for Emily & Abby, at the start of this term's new Compass course. Pray that the young people will engage well with the programme, & that Compass will have a lasting positive impact on their lives.
