Pray for young people starting year 7, that they’ll have a positive first experience of high school. Pray, that school staff will be able to spot any young people who are struggling & offer them the support they need.

2nd (Wed)

Pray for young people who are affected by anxiety. For those who are worried about starting a new school, or returning to school or college.

3rd (Thu)

Please pray for new opportunities to arise for Youthscape - for us to be able to serve young people, schools, youth workers, & churches.

4th (Fri)

Pray for peace & comfort for the young people starting new Alumina online groups later this month.

5th (Sat)

Pray for the health & wellbeing of local school staff, as they deal with a multiplicity of pressures & expectations.

6th (Sun)

Pray for positive relationships to grow with the new young people we meet this term. That the work we do with them will make a lasting, positive change to their lives.

7th (Mon)

Pray for us as a team, as we head to Pleshey today for our first retreat of the year. As we spend time listening to God, praying together, & preparing for the year ahead.

8th (Tue)

Pray that God will inspire & speak to us whilst we’re away together.

9th (Wed)

Pray for the local team - as they reconnect with secondary schools in Luton this month.

10th (Thu)

Thank God for everyone working to care for young people who are struggling & vulnerable around the UK.

11th (Fri)

Tonight’s the first Luton Unite event of the year. Pray that the young people will have fun together, & learn more about God.

12th (Sat)

Pray for Alex (DuRand) - who’s currently on maternity leave, & for Chris - who is on sabbatical.

13th (Sun)

School can be a very daunting & difficult place for some young people. Pray for those who are struggling to make friends, who are lonely, & for those experiencing bullying.

14th (Mon)

Drop In returns today. Pray that lots of new young people will join this term, & that they’ll settle in quickly & feel at home at Bute Mills.

15th (Tue)

Pray for local young people who are starting college, apprenticeships & university this term.

16th (Wed)

For Launchpad Facilitator training today & tomorrow: Pray those attending will learn how to run Launchpad well, so they’re able to train church leaders who want to engage their churches in youth work.

17th (Thu)

A new Fearless course starts today. Pray the young people will engage well with everything, & that their time in the group will make a positive, lasting difference to their lives.

18th (Fri)

For the new hosts of Youthscape Essentials. That they feel equipped to support youth leaders in their churches. For course attendees to grow in confidence, & for the young people they work with to develop a lifelong faith.

19th (Sat)

Pray the Alumina team will be able to run enough groups this term to reduce the waiting list substantially. And pray for young people who are on the waiting list, that they’ll feel supported whilst they are waiting.

20th (Sun)

We’re sending new Youthscape Essentials course material to the YSE licence holders this term. Pray that it will enhance & inform their work with young people.

21st (Mon)

The National Youth Ministry Weekend takes place in November. Pray for our Events Team, (who organise & plan Satellites & the NYMW), as they plan & prepare over the next few weeks.

22nd (Tue)

Pray for the local team, & for the young people they’re working with in Luton.

23rd (Wed)

Thank God for our staff, volunteers & funders. For those who support us in prayer, financially, or in our work with young people directly.

24th (Thu)

Pray for the young people you know. That they’ll be agents of change in our world as they grow up. That God will use them to transform the church & the world for the better.

25th (Fri)

Pray for young people who struggle with new school terms, & for those with neurodiversity that find the education system difficult to navigate.

26th (Sat)

Pray that God will bless the work of the local team, as they work with young people in Luton.

27th (Sun)

Pray for those in leadership & government. May those whose decisions affect the lives of young people, families, & schools, make wise choices that are governed by God’s compassion & wisdom.

28th (Mon)

Pray for church staff attending our Youthscape Essentials Autumn course. That they’ll grow in skills & confidence, & for their faith to deepen as they take part in the course.

29th (Tue)

For our team: Please pray for our emotional & physical wellbeing, for wisdom, energy, & inspiration, as we seek to serve young people & youth workers.

30th (Wed)

Pray for Launchpad courses starting in: Portsmouth, Oxford - Milton Keynes, & Oxford - Berkshire. And for the Launchpad celebrations taking place in: Bath & Wells, Truro, Birmingham, Chelmsford, & Guilford.
