Engaging Young People with Climate Justice

£50.00

Course details:

"Our house is on fire." The words of 16-year-old activist Greta Thunberg who has mobilised a global movement of young people to speak up against the climate crisis. "Finally, someone gave us a voice" was the response of a 16-year-old who joined the group of young people in the UK organising climate strikes.

In our day together we will explore the Biblical mandate toward creation care, deep-dive into the power of youth-led activism and explore the call of the Church to rise up prophetically. We will wrestle with the question: how do we take on climate change? We are not interested in catching up to culture, but instead, leading culture and society into a deep understanding of the creation Creator.
