Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
1) SALE AND PURCHASE
1.1 By submitting a completed order form on our website, www.youthscape.co.uk, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract with us. This contract begins when we confirm acceptance of your order by email. We will then agree to supply the resources listed on the order.
1.2 Any advice or recommendations given by any representative of Youthscape to the Buyer relating to resources, which is not confirmed in writing by us, will not be binding.
1.3 Any variation to these terms and conditions will be acknowledged on the website.
In submitting an order the Buyer acknowledges that:
2.1 All information and specifications relating to the resources produced by a publisher are approximate and all errors on the website may be corrected without any liability to Youthscape. For various reasons, covers may vary from those supplied.
2.2 Youthscape may make any changes to the specification of the resources to conform to any statutory or European requirements.
3) RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
3.1 In accordance with UK and European law, the purchaser has the right to withdraw from the order contract within seven working days of submitting the order by giving written notice of withdrawal.
3.2 If the order has already been dispatched, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to return the item(s) ordered to Youthscape (c/o 3A Upper George St, Luton, Beds, LU1 2QX). Items should be returned in new (resalable) condition.
3.3 On receipt of returned goods, or in cases where orders are not yet dispatched on receipt of cancellation, Youthscape will credit the Buyer's payment card for the price of the resources withdrawn. This will include any postage charges.
4) PRICING POLICY
4.1 The price payable for the resources ordered shall be the price quoted on the website on the date the order was placed, subject to any inadvertent pricing errors (whether technical or otherwise) by Youthscape. A confirmed buying price will be sent to you via email when we have accepted your order.
4.2 If the price of the total resources ordered in one transaction exceeds £14.99, the price offered will include delivery within the UK.
4.3 If the price of the total resources ordered in one transaction is £14.99 or less, an additional delivery charge will be payable.
4.4 The price of the resources includes any applicable Value Added Tax (VAT).
5) PAYMENT CARDS
5.1 Credit and Debit cards accepted by the Youthscape store are listed on the website.
5.2 All charges to credit/debit cards will be made at the point of order. Any fraudulent use of Credit/Debit cards will be notified to the authorities along with any identification details that were supplied with the order.
5.3 Any refund made to the Buyer's credit or Debit card shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Issuing Bank and therefore be subject to any time delay as specified by the Issuing Bank. No liability shall be placed on Youthscape for any delay that is outside of their control.
5.4 All accepted orders will be processed by The Youthscape Store, 3A Upper George St, Luton, Beds, LU1 2QX, United Kingdom, Company No.: 3939801 Charity No. 1081754. We will debit your payment card for these goods and our name will appear on your statement against the purchase.
6.1 If the Buyer does not take delivery of the resources or give Youthscape adequate delivery instructions then no duty of care shall apply. Any loss or damage or deterioration to the resources shall not render Youthscape liable.
6.2 If the Buyer does not receive all the goods as specified on the original order, the Buyer must notify Youthscape in writing (this may include email) within 14 working days of the date of delivery. If the Buyer does not inform Youthscape in writing within the specified time then no liability will be attached to Youthscape. In any event any loss or damage suffered by the Buyer as a result of such a delivery shall be limited to the price of the goods not delivered, or the cost of replacement resources.
6.3 Risk of damage or loss of the resources shall pass to the Buyer on delivery or, if the Buyer fails to take delivery of the Goods, the time when the Supplier has tried to deliver the Goods.
7) WARRANTY AND OWNERSHIP
7.1 Subject to the conditions set out below Youthscape warrants that the resources will be delivered as described on the website. If Youthscape is in breach of this warranty the Buyer shall notify Youthscape within 14 working days from the date of discovery of the defect. On receiving a notice of failure of warranty Youthscape will offer the Buyer the option of having the defective resources or refunded. This shall be the extent of the liability of Youthscape and no consequential loss claim of any kind shall be made against Youthscape.
