This bundle is ideal for an older young person who has reached the stage of moving on from youth group. It is full of resources to keep them going and strengthening their faith.
Our love and care for young people doesn't suddenly stop when they turn 18, leave youth group, go to uni or take a gap year. We still want to make sure they're supported, and to see them continue to grow in faith and in life. This bundle is a perfect gift for a young person (or a bunch of young people) to champion them and keep them going, even as they grow up and leave our professional care. It's full of resources that help them to grow their faith, to have meaningful conversations with friends, and to have important daily messages that speak into their life.
What's in the bundle?
Student Age (16+) playing cards: This set of 52 playing cards are a brilliant way to have fun, whilst opening up conversations with young people, or for young people to use with their friends. They can be used to play all the normal card games, whilst the questions on each card work as a helpful way to start interesting conversations about them, about others, the world, or faith. They're ideal for students heading to uni, to get to know people and to use with their friends.
Affirmation Cards: This set of 6 stylish affirmation quote cards contains inspirational quotes written by young people that emphasise our unique value and purpose. The words are taken from a blog on our mental health website written by a young person about different aspects of their mental health. On the back of each card is the title of the blog and the link to the full blog on the website. These are a brilliant gift for young people leaving youth group, and serve as daily reminders of messages that will build them up.
Swap: This is a new approach to reading the Bible. Full of creative exercises, thought-provoking questions and space to get ideas about God onto paper, Swap is a different take on the traditional Bible study. The idea is simple; two people partner up, each with a swap journal. Maybe a student and a mentor at church, or two friends. Some parts you meet up to do together; other bits you do alone. Then, part-way through each session, you swap journals and read and pray through what the other person has written. We're all on a journey of faith and as fellow travellers we can all learn from each other. Swap is a fresh, fun way to ask the deep questions of life together, and maybe even stumble upon some answers.
