NYMW 2024 Terms & conditions

 

Our terms and conditions for booking tickets for the 2024 National Youth Ministry Weekend.

 

1. General

1.1 The National Youth Ministry Weekend is an event organised and run by Youthscape Events Ltd.

1.2 Youthscape Events Ltd and The Vox have the right to refuse admission or evict ticket holders from the venue due to unacceptable behaviour with the potential to cause damage, nuisance or injury.

2. Registration

2.1 Online bookings will close at midnight on Thursday 21st November 2024. Any additional full event delegates registering after this date must email nymw@youthscape.co.uk to confirm spaces.

2.2 It is the lead booker’s responsibility to ensure any change of contact details are communicated to the NYMW team. All communications will be sent via email therefore it is essential to provide a current, valid email address when booking your ticket.

2.3 Wristbands will be handed to event attendees upon arrival at the venue. It is the responsibility of the attendee to bring their booking confirmation to the venue. To access your booking confirmation, visit www.youthscape.co.uk and log into your account. Tickets for events will be found under the ‘tickets’ section. Wristbands will only be supplied on receipt of your booking confirmation.

2.4 Wristbands must be worn at all times and will be checked on arrival at the venue.

3. Prices & payments

3.1 NYMW ‘Flexi’ ticket deposits are fully refundable until 1st May 2024 whereby the balance must be paid. Should a purchaser of a ‘Flexi’ deposit not either pay the remaining balance by 1st May 2024 or request a refund in writing to nymw@youthscape.co.uk by 1st May 2024, the deposit will be forfeit and non-refundable. All refunds will be paid within 1 month of the refund request being made.

3.2 NYMW ‘Value’ tickets are non-refundable, subject to Clause 4 – Transfers, Refunds and Cancellations

3.3 NYMW ‘Flexi’ and ‘Value’ tickets are available for purchase from 10am Saturday 25th November 2023 until midnight on Monday 11th December 2023.

3.4 All payments, whether for ‘Flexi’ reservation deposits or ‘Value’ tickets must be paid in full by midnight on Monday 11th December 2023.

3.5 From 11th December 2023, the ticket price for the National Youth Ministry Weekend will increase to £119 per ticket. This will be the ‘saver’ ticket.

3.6 Subsequently, the pricing will increase to £139 per ticket at the end of the saver period. This will be the ‘standard’ price. Requests to pay via invoice must be received by midnight via email to nymw@youthscape.co.uk on each ticket deadline day to ensure the cheapest ticket rates. Upon receipt of the invoice, payment must be received within 7 days. Failure to pay within 7 days will result in tickets being released.

4. Transfers, refunds & cancellations

4.1 Once tickets are purchased, places can be transferred to another individual like for like when Youthscape Events Ltd are notified in writing from the named ticket holder or lead booker. Notification of any transfers of places must be to the NYMW team by emailing nymw@youthscape.co.uk.

4.2 If you are unable to transfer to another individual, fully paid up tickets will only be refunded in extenuating circumstances. Youthscape Events Ltd will make the final decision on what is considered as an extenuating circumstance. Ticket holders should email nymw@youthscape.co.uk to request a refund. The date of receipt of this email will be the date on which any refunds are based.

4.3 Any refunds will be issued as follows:

• Within 14 days of purchase (statutory rights) – full refund given
• Outside 14 days from purchase – no refund given (transfers freely available to another guest)

No refunds (however extenuating the circumstance) will be given after 31st August 2024 as event funds will have already been committed by then.

4.4 In the unfortunate event that we cancel NYMW, ticket holders will be offered a full refund on their tickets. In the event that refunds are offered, a member of the NYMW team will contact you within 28 days of the cancellation.

4.5 Youthscape Events Ltd will not be held responsible for any costs other than ticket prices incurred by delegates in the event of the event being cancelled such as travel or accommodation costs. Youthscape Events Ltd would recommend you taking out insurance to cover such eventualities.

4.6 Youthscape Events Ltd have the right to amend or alter the event programme without being obliged to offer refunds to tickets.

5. Photography & video recording

5.1 Throughout the event, our media team will be taking photographs and video footage. They will be wearing a team badge as an identifier. All delegates consent to their image being used by their attendance at the event. Images may be used in printed publications, videos, websites and social media. Names will not appear in any published material in print or online. If the photographer is taking photos where people are identifiable, they will ask the delegates for consent before taking the photo. If you wish to revoke your consent at any time, please email nymw@youthscape.co.uk.

6. Safeguarding

7. Data & privacy

8. Exclusions

8.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions seeks to exclude any liability of Youthscape Events Ltd for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.

9. Enforcement

9.1 Youthscape Events Ltd may enforce these terms in accordance with the provisions of the Contracts (Rights ofThird Parties) Act 1999 (the “Act”). Except as provided above, this agreement does not create any right enforceable by any person who is not a party to it under the Act, but does not affect any right or remedy that a third party has which exists or is available apart from that Act.

10. Jurisdiction

10.1 All of these terms and conditions are governed by English Law and any disputes arising out of any transaction with Youthscape are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
