Satellites Bursary Fund
From the very beginning, we’ve always wanted to make Satellites an accessible place of belonging for all young people. We believe that Jesus is calling us to always create a bigger family table, with more room for those who might otherwise be overlooked or left behind.
As part of this commitment – and thanks to a generous donation – we are formally launching a Bursary scheme in time for the 2026 event. This will fund places for young people who would otherwise be unable to access Satellites on financial grounds. There is a simple form to complete, and youth groups can apply for up to five fully-funded places.
We currently have the potential to give away 25 bursary places for the 2026 event, but we would love to offer more. If you’d like to enable a young person to attend who otherwise couldn’t afford to come, you can donate here. Please ensure that you include ‘bursary fund’ in your payment reference.
Eligibility criteria:
These bursary places are limited (25 in total and we expect 3000+ young people) so whilst there are no specific criteria, these spaces are aimed at those young people who would not be able to afford a ticket and therefore would otherwise not be able to come. The bursary form must be completed by the youth leader or group leader responsible for the group. We feel that this person will have the best knowledge of the needs of the young people in their group. If you are a parent or guardian hoping for a bursary space, please speak to your youth/group leader.
