Welcome to Volunteering is a set of postcards designed to equip, challenge and encourage those who are at the earliest stages of volunteering in youth ministry. This gift can show volunteers how valued they are and encourage those on the fence to take a step towards youth ministry.
What’s in the tin?
A set of 45 postcards offering daily inspiration, covering a range of aspects:
• Research into youth culture today
• Tools for leading and engaging with young people
• Devotions to inspire and encourage
• Theological Reflections to prepare volunteers for the role
We’ve also included a blank postcard to add a personal message before gifting the resource to someone. There is also a space provided on the back of the tin for churches and organisations wanting to add their own logo.
Welcome to Volunteering is designed to build a rhythm of reflection and development in the life of a youth leader as they begin their ministry journey. Youth leaders can select a card each day or week, offering time to reflect, pray, learn or just be encouraged.
