The final phase of the Translating God research, Troubling Jesus, introduces us to a new way of reading the Bible with young people. This new approach is made accessible for youth leaders in Reading with God, a four-session guide which enables the young people to read Scripture for themselves, ask big questions and comment freely on what they think the passage is about.
Youthscape has developed a suite of resources to sit alongside the Reading with God guide. In this collection, you will receive:
- Reading with God – A reading guide for youth leaders to help young people engage and explore Scripture together.
- Question Cubes – A set of dice that help young people ask questions of the passage they are reading.
- In Context – An insight into how the culture and society of Jesus’ time might change how we read the Gospel. (Exclusive to the collection)
- Imaginative Prayer – 15 scripts to lead young people in imaginative contemplation based on stories from the Gospels.
- Acts of Faith – A tool to help young people think through their active response to the passage they have been exploring. (Exclusive to the collection)
