Therapeutic groups in schools

Dear Parents/Carers,

Your child has been selected by their school to receive the opportunity to take part in one of Youthscape’s therapeutic groups within schools - either ‘Compass: Foundations’ or ‘Fearless: Foundations’. This will happen over six weeks, one lesson a week, beginning after February half term 2022. You will have received further information in your Parent Pack.

Our schools groups are designed to give Year 7 and 8 students the opportunity to receive input from experienced youth workers within the school environment. Those who engage in these will take part in activities, workshops, and discussions around emotional wellbeing, setting goals for the future, developing confidence and self-esteem, and building healthy relationships with themselves and others.

Students will be expected to follow any Covid-19 guidelines put in place by the school within the groups.
