Incorporating some of the thinking from Martin Saunders’ popular new book The Man You’re Made to Be, this training day will begin by looking at how boys are different, and bring distinct challenges, needs and opportunities. It will move on to explore how focusing on Jesus as the ultimate male role model can help connect them with a faith that speaks a language of passion, purpose and adventure. The day will conclude with a whistle-stop tour of the key issues facing boys, from worrying mental health statistics to the problem of porn.
