This deep dive in ‘Transitions: Connecting youth and children’s work’, led in the style of a Youthscape Essentials session is available to watch or even use to train a small group of youth leaders. Charles Merritt, our in-house expert, helps us understand the impact of change for young people and explore how a youth leader can support them as they transition from primary to secondary school. Learn some of the research behind why this time is so crucial for young people, work through a model to help young people move forward and reflect on what it means to be a trusted leader in this process.
